Community Guidelines

Our baseline

BeYou is built for LGBTQ+ community and creator safety. Content and behavior that put people at risk (harassment, hate, exploitation, scams, or illegal activity) will be removed and may result in account action.

No nudity or adult content

Nudity and explicit sexual content are strictly prohibited on BeYou. This includes content that is intended to be sexually explicit, pornographic, or primarily focused on sexual gratification - whether user-created or AI-generated. This content may not be posted, shared, streamed, or monetized through any BeYou feature (including tips, subscriptions, paid content, or Rainbow Coins).

BeYou uses automated content moderation systems including AI-powered NSFW image detection and live stream frame analysis to proactively detect and remove prohibited content.

Harassment, hate, and violent extremism

The following are strictly prohibited and may not be posted or monetized:

• Hate speech or slurs targeting any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic
• Content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm
• Threats of violence or encouragement of self-harm
• Bullying, targeted harassment, or doxxing

Scams and fraud

• Impersonation or misleading identity
• Phishing, spam, or deceptive links
• Soliciting payments off-platform for prohibited purposes

Illegal or harmful content

• Illegal goods/services or instructions that facilitate wrongdoing
• Non-consensual content, exploitation, or sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance)
• Content that violates others’ intellectual property rights, including copyrighted music, video, software, or other protected material

Reporting content

Every user can report content that violates our guidelines. Reporting is available on every video, profile, comment, message, and live stream through the Report button (flag icon). Reports are confidential — the reported user will not know who flagged them.

How to report:

• Tap the flag icon or “Report” option on any video, profile, comment, or live stream
• Select a reason (spam, harassment, hate speech, explicit content, violence, underage, impersonation, self-harm, scam, or other)
• Optionally add details to help our moderation team
• Submit — our team reviews all reports within 24 hours

Rights holders and third parties may also request content removal by emailing support@beyou.live with details of the violation and proof of ownership where applicable. DMCA takedown requests are processed in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Enforcement

Enforcement can include warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions, demonetization, account suspension, or permanent bans.

Repeat violators are subject to our three-strike escalation policy: first violation results in a warning and content removal; second violation results in a 7–30 day suspension with monetization paused; third violation results in permanent account termination and forfeiture of pending payouts. Severe violations (content involving minors, credible threats, terrorism) may result in immediate permanent termination without prior strikes.

Strike history is tracked per account and does not expire. If you believe we made a mistake, contact support@beyou.live. Appeals are reviewed within 48 hours.
