BeYou (beyou.live), operated by Be You Live, LLC, has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor. BeYou is an adults-only (18+) platform: every person appearing in explicit content is an adult, and every account holder verifies that they are at least 18. This policy explains how we prevent, detect, report, and act on child-endangerment concerns.
Prohibited absolutely
- Any depiction of a minor in sexual or sexualized content, real, drawn, or computer-generated;
- Content that appears to depict a minor, or that presents an adult as a minor;
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact or exploit a minor;
- Sharing, linking to, or requesting CSAM anywhere on or through the service.
How we prevent and detect it
Uploads are screened before publication. Screening includes matching against hash databases of known removed and illegal material, automated screening for content that may depict a minor, and human review of flagged material before anything is released. Content that matches a known removed-content hash, or that our screening flags as potentially depicting a minor, is withheld from publication and routed for review — it is never released on an automated pass. Real creators complete government-ID and age verification, and the records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 are maintained for covered content.
Reporting to NCMEC (18 U.S.C. § 2258A)
When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material, we report it to the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and we preserve the related material as the statute requires. We cooperate with NCMEC and with law enforcement, and we take action on the responsible account, including immediate termination and preservation of evidence.
How to report a concern
If you see content on BeYou that you believe sexualizes or endangers a minor, report it immediately:
- Use our report tool, or email support@beyou.live; and
- Report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
Do not download, save, forward, or re-share suspected CSAM in an attempt to document it — reporting the location is enough, and reproducing the material is itself unlawful.
Related non-consensual-content reporting
Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) are handled on an expedited basis under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, with removal within 48 hours of a valid report. See our report tool and our Content Compliance policy for detail.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy result in immediate removal of the content, termination of the responsible account, preservation of evidence, and reporting to NCMEC and law enforcement as required by law. There is no strike system for child-endangerment violations — they are acted on at once.
